Owner
Peter is one of the original founders and the current owner of Northern Log. He lives in Mayville, MI with his wife, Katie, and their four children. Peter and his family are dedicated members of the 4H Club and enjoy attending stock shows throughout the state. When he’s not at work, Peter is an avid hunter and enjoys an annual “out west” trip with his father and brothers.
Finishing Manager
With 25 years of experience in wood finishing, Greg has been with Northern Log since 2019. He strives to achieve the best finish for our products and deliver top-notch service for all our customers. In his spare time, Greg can be found spending time outdoors with his wife and three kids. They enjoy hunting, fishing, and connecting with nature.
Installation Manager
Cal has 18 years of experience in the log home industry. He joined the Northern Log team in 2017 as our Installation Crew Foreman. Today, he leads our Installation Team and helps ensure that every installed product meets our high standards, with the same level of care he would use on his own projects. Outside of work, Cal enjoys spending time with his wife and kids in the great outdoors.
Facility/Plant Manager & Organizer
A carpenter by trade, Andy has spent most of his working life in or around the log and wood home industry. He spent 18 years as a Lead Framer, building log homes all over the country before he joined the Northern Log team. As our facility manager, he spends his days keeping everyone on schedule so our team hits deadlines for our customers. When he’s not working, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and kids at their very own log cabin.
Sales
Daryl has been with Northern Log since 2019, after spending several years in the log home industry. He specializes in working with log railings and staircases, but he also enjoys working with residential customers to help them find the right wood product for their home.
