Features two bottom beams that cross and connect to angled top beams.
King Post Truss
Built with two principal rafters, a tie beam, a central vertical post, and two 45º struts.
Queen Post Truss

Hammer Beam Truss
Uses short beams projecting from the wall with posts built on top to support the rafters
Arch Truss
Similar to a king post truss, but the bottom beam is curved for a decorative look
